Workplace Conduct – Learn about the Impact of new Legislation for Employers

Creating a positive, inclusive culture which is free of harassment is essential for any business regardless of size. In this workshop we will look in more detail at the law on harassment and in particular the recent change in legislation which puts a positive duty on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment at work.

This workshop will look at the definition of harassment, when and where it might occur, how to deal with complaints if they arise and also the steps employers are expected to take to avoid harassment and in particular sexual harassment. We will also briefly look at what changes we can expect in the next few years in relation to harassment legislation.

This will be a practical session where business owners will be able to formulae an action plan specifically for their organisations.
