Go Network – Tayside Food & Drink: From Local to Global. An event for food & drink businesses aspiring take their business to the next level.

What to expect from this event

Michelle Maddox, owner of Clootie McToot Dumplings, will give us an insight to her inspirational story. Michelle went from making clootie dumplings in her own kitchen for family and friends, all the way to having her products sold globally on the shelves of international retailers and being showcased to World Leaders and Celebrity Chefs.

You’ll also hear from other members of the local food and drink ecosystem, including Vivien Collie of Eat & Drink Dundee; Vivien will be discussing the importance of sustainability, collaboration and community within the industry. Vivien will give an introduction and overview of the Award Winning team and exceptional facilities at the Food Lab within Abertay University.

In addition, we will be joined by Daniel Muir of Supply Chain Scotland who will discuss supply chain challenges relevant to growing food & drink businesses and offer strategies to minimise the risk of supply chain difficulties.

Sarah Russell from Giraffe and Great Perthshire Food & Drink will tell us about the amazing work they do in the local community and their plans for the upcoming Great Perthshire Food & Drink festival, taking place this September.

All attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a live clootie dumpling making session.
