Lanarkshire Women in Business (LWIB) – The Launch!

March will be a breakthrough month for female entrepreneurship in Lanarkshire.

Launching on International Women’s Day (8^th March), this free event will kick off a bumper month of impactful events, headlined by inspiring female speakers and industry experts! All giving their time to ensure that the flag for enterprising ambition flies high amongst Lanarkshire’s female population.

This event will be led by representatives and key supporters of Lanarkshire Women In Business (LWIB) and promises to be inspiring and insightful. Attendees will be able to:

• Hear about efforts to stimulate and support female entrepreneurship locally and nationally
• Access inspiring and authentic female leaders who can talk from experience about challenges and opportunities faced on the path to business success
• Learn about plans for female focused business support in Lanarkshire through March and beyond (2022/3)
• Be first in line to find out about new start-up funding in Lanarkshire to support new business ventures
• Find out about business start-up and growth support available locally via Business Gateway Lanarkshire.

LWIB is a partnership initiative led by North and South Lanarkshire Councils, Business Gateway Lanarkshire, New College Lanarkshire and FSB.
