Lunchtime Learning: Mediation in the Workplace

Mediation has emerged as one of the most effective ways to resolve workplace disputes, this is particularly important where there is a need to maintain relationships at work. In this lunchtime session we will consider how conflict can arise at work and the different options employers have in dealing with it.

Mediation is a way of resolving conflict through dialogue, typically a mediator will facilitate a conversation between the parties in dispute with a view to reaching a satisfactory outcome. During this session we will look at the benefits of resolving workplace conflict through mediation and we will also provide an overview of how this process works.
