Women in Business
The Women in Business programme is a fully-funded, 5-week programme designed to equip Edinburgh business owners with the tools and confidence to grow their business.You will learn how to:
- Develop a clear vision and strategy for business growth
- Identify and overcome the common challenges and barriers faced by female entrepreneurs
- Build a strong network of peers, mentors and supporters who can help you along the way
The programme will consist of 5 sessions, a day per week and will take place at the Royal Bank of Scotland Hub, 36 St Andrew Square, Edinburgh EH2 2YB. Each session will run from 10am – 2.30pm (lunch included) on the following dates:
- Thursday 25th January
- Thursday 1st February
- Thursday 8th February
- Thursday 15th February
- Thursday 29th February
The Women in Business Programme is delivered by Elevator on behalf of Business Gateway Edinburgh & Lothians and The City of Edinburgh Council.
Mastering eCommerce Growth
Mastering eCommerce Growth is a fully funded 5-week programme for Edinburgh businesses with an established eCommerce website. Participants will learn:
- If they’re on the right trading platform, and the pros and cons of other platforms
- How to determine the right marketing strategy and level of investment for their business
- If they have a solid business plan
- What data to manage and how to have appropriate tracking in place
- How to secure repeat custom
- How to fine tune eCommerce profitability performance
- The importance of brand and reputation building
This is an in-person Programme, taking place over 5 weeks. You must be able to attend all sessions in-person.
- 1 session per week, held on Thursdays
- 3-4 hours per session
- Sessions will be held on 12th, 19th & 26th September and 3rd and 10th October
- Location: Edinburgh College, Sighthill Campus
The Mastering eCommerce Growth Programme is delivered by Elevator on behalf of Business Gateway Edinburgh & Lothians and The City of Edinburgh Council. This project is funded through The UK Shared Prosperity Fund and City of Edinburgh Council.
