Launched in 2000 by Irene Smith, Health & Beauty is a popular beauty salon based in Lerwick offering a wide range of beauty services to local clients.
The guidance and support from Business Gateway during a time of great uncertainty was hugely important for the survival of my business, and the team were always available when we had a question or issue that needed to be solved.

When lockdown was announced, Irene turned to Business Gateway for up-to-date support and advice about the new rules regulating reopening.
Through Business Gateway, Irene was able to complete a variety of courses online to ensure she had the correct skills and knowledge to introduce new rules and operational changes due to COVID-19. Irene and her team were also given support about temporary closure, safety rules and furlough.
